My name is Abigail Ruch and I'm a Junior pursuing a Business and Sport Management Dual Degree at the University of Michigan. I'm also engaged in the Minor in Writing program. I enjoy journaling, taking photographs of my friends, family, and surroundings, trying to figure out how to be fully vegan without giving up cheese, and being engaged in current events. I have a deep passion for reading, sports, sustainability, public policy, music, and film and constantly strive to push myself to be more involved in my community and interests.

This website is devoted to the Sweetland Minor in Writing Gateway course and features my project, On Knowing, which is based off my budding fascination with the concept of knowing other people. In 2016, I began a relationship that has changed my perspective on what it means to know other people and to know yourself. Both my repurposing and remediation analyze this concept through the scope of my relationships, narratives, and through the people I meet on a daily basis.
